On Monday, June 9, BTS' Jungkook made history with his solo debut song, SEVEN feat. Latto, after it spends 100 consecutive weeks in Melon's Top 100 Weekly Chart. The song is the first and the only debut by a male solo artist to ever reach this achievement.
Given that the song was released almost two years ago, in July 2023, fans were elated to learn about the growing and evergreen influence of the idol's first solo track. BTS' Jungkook or Jeon Jung-kook is a South Korean singer and dancer who debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment, now rebranded as HYBE Labels. The idol stands as one of the vocalists, including the other members under the Vocal Line, such as Jin, V, and Jimin.
During the idol's time as a BTS member, he has released several solo tracks under the group's albums such as My Time, Euphoria, and more. He also rolled out a SoundCloud track in 2020 called Still With You, a song gifted to ARMYs for the group's debut anniversary.
However, his official solo debut was in July 2023, with the release of his first solo track, SEVEN feat. Latto. Soon, in September 2023, he put forth another single called 3D feat. Jack Harlow.
