Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-lover, who is testifying under the pseudonym "Jane" to protect her identity, continued her testimony on Monday for the third day. The jury also witnessed a series of texts exchanged between her and the rapper. As per ABC News, in one of her texts to Diddy, Jane wrote that she found similarities between her experience and Cassie Ventura's lawsuit.
Ventura, who is Combs' ex-girlfriend, provided a lengthy testimony during the ongoing Diddy trial in May 2025. She had previously filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023. According to CNN, Cassie Ventura, in her lawsuit, pressed charges of rape and physical abuse against Diddy. However, it was settled the day after.
As per ABC News, on Monday, Jane told the court that when she read Ventura's lawsuit, she fainted after finding out how much the lawsuit resembled her own experience with the rapper.
"There was three specific pages that bore a harrowing resemblance to what I was experiencing. These pages resembled my own experience," Jane testified.
According to CNN, in a different text, she further shared her feelings with Combs about Ventura's lawsuit. The text reportedly read:
"I feel like I'm reading my own sexual trauma."
In another text, Jane wrote:
"It's all so clear that this was sexual exploitation that you framed as love for your sick fetishes."
As per USA Today, on June 9, the jury was shown text threads shared between Combs and Jane after Ventura filed the lawsuit. Combs texted Jane on November 17, 2023, expressing his stress over the lawsuit. In her response, Jane called Combs' alleged "freak-offs" toxic.
"I didn't want any more of these nights," she reportedly replied.
The outlet reported that the court also heard an audio call recording from November 19, 2023, between the two.
"I've been crying for three days. I can't sleep. Just reading it all, it's just so like word for word," Jane was heard saying in the recording.
As per NBC News, Jane also shared with the jury that in October 2023, Combs allegedly had her have s*x with three other men at a Beverly Hills Hotel. She recalled that she threw up during this encounter.
As per CNN, chats from October 2023 between Jane and Combs were also shown to the jury, in which she seemingly expressed her disapproval. One of her texts from the thread read:
"I feel as your lover I wanted to please you and destress you and I pushed through and went along with things even when deep down I wanted the night to be over."
As per USA Today, after Ventura filed the lawsuit, Jane and Diddy were on a break until February 2024. During this time, in one of her texts to Combs, Jane reportedly wrote:
"Leave women alone who don't want to do those nights with you. Hire prostitutes and stop emotionally harming women who love you."
As per CNN, Jane told the court that Diddy was allegedly threatening her with s*x tapes. She said she expressed her concerns to Combs' former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram. In a text to Khorram on December 28, 2023, Jane reportedly wrote:
"[Combs] said that he would expose me and send them to my child's father. He has been bothering me for two months."
As per NBC News, Jane told in her testimony that she joined OnlyFans in early 2024 to achieve financial independence. She also said that she reconciled with Combs in February 2024.
As per CNN, Jane revealed that when Homeland Security Investigations raided Diddy's homes in March 2024, she also got a card from the law enforcement agency. She also shared that Combs had hired an attorney for her and is still paying for the attorney who is representing her now.
In her testimony, Jane said that she was with Combs when CNN released the surveillance video from the hotel showing Diddy beating Ventura. Jane is set to face cross-examination from the defense once the prosecution is done with direct testimony.
