Kendrick Lamar performed at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, on Thursday, June 12, 2025. This was the first time the rapper performed in the city since his beef with Drake, whose hometown is Toronto. The Drake and Kendrick feud started over a year ago, and both rappers created multiple diss tracks against each other.
Kendrick is now on his Grand National Tour with SZA in North America. It started with a performance at the Rogers Centre on Thursday. The Grand National Tour is a seven-act performance, which features acts from Kendrick, SZA, and then both of them combined. The full setlist is as follows (via VIBE):

Ahead of Kendrick's concert at the Rogers Centre on Thursday, many Drake fans were planning a Drake "OVO Takeover." They planned to visit the venue in big numbers and blast Drake's songs outside.
However, the authorities canceled it on suspicion of trouble and chaos. The OVO Takeover's organizers put out a statement on their social media on June 12, writing (via Hot New Hip Hop) that they had to cancel the Takeover. The statement added that they "genuinely just wanted to bring people together," have fun, and "create good vibes for the city."
"But unfortunately, some people decided to report us, falsely claiming we were planning to 'start trouble' or cause chaos. Because of those reports, police were already on high alert and were quick to shut down anything that even looked like a crowd forming - including us," the statement read.
The organizers explained that they meant no harm and that it was only supposed to be for culture and fun. They also added that they didn't expect the 'OVO Takeover' to blow up so much and even get local media attention.
They also announced that they would be mailing hoodies to "everyone who came through," asking fans to send their vidoes or photos from outside the concert, if they ended up going there.
"To make sure your time wasn't wasted, if you pulled up at all, DM us any videos or photos you took - we'll be mailing out hoodies to everyone who came through. Just give us a few days to process everything. We'll also be running a few giveaways over the next couple days to get the rest of the hoodies out."
Kendrick is set for another performance at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Friday, June 13, as well.
