In the ongoing federal sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, a newly surfaced voicemail allegedly left by Combs for Daphne Joy went viral. According to an X post by No Jumper on June 7, 2025, the voicemail revealed a heated exchange in which Diddy demanded that Joy stop ignoring him and get back to work.
"There ain’t nobody threatening you… I’m telling you, I ain’t got no time for no motherf**king games... Me and you can be mad, we could have a spat. Then after that, you better get on your job. That’s all it is," Diddy allegedly said in the voice message.
As per a People magazine report dated June 6, 2025, Daphne Joy—whose real name is Daphne Narvaez—shares a son with rapper 50 Cent. Although there are no official reports about her being a witness in the ongoing case against "Diddy", fans speculate that Joy might be "Jane Doe" who testified as a victim on June 6, 2025.
In the recording, the rapper can be heard saying that if she kept up her behavior, he would "disappear" on her.
"I’m not gonna be playing these games with you at all… I don’t know if you’re silent treating me… you’ll have a rude awakening. You’ll just have silence," he said.
Diddy further addressed his decision to leave the voicemail, claiming he had initially considered deleting it, but Joy’s unresponsiveness left him "no choice".
"Ain’t no threat. I’m just being clear. I can’t do this shit with you every time you get upset," he added.
As per an article published by Plunge on June 8, 2025, model, actress, and entrepreneur Daphne Joy—born Daphne Narvaez—became involved in the high-profile legal proceedings against Sean "Diddy" Combs after being named in a sex trafficking lawsuit filed against Combs.
According to the report, music producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones alleged that Joy was a "sex worker", allegedly paid by Combs as part of an illicit enterprise involving multiple women. The lawsuit claimed that Joy and several others were compensated for their participation in Combs’ infamous parties.
Joy firmly denied all claims of involvement, publicly rejecting the allegations as a malicious attack on her character. Explaining her anguish, she shared an Instagram post where she wrote,
"The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false... I wouldn’t wish this on any woman. God hears me, and that’s all that matters".
After that, Joy found herself embroiled in another legal battle—this time with ex-boyfriend Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, the father of her son, Sire Jackson. The two previously dated from 2011 to 2012 and welcomed their son in September 2012, whom they were co-parenting.
However, as per the aforementioned Plunge report, in March 2024, 50 Cent filed for sole custody of their son, allegedly prompted by Daphne’s involvement in Combs' legal troubles. Joy, in retaliation, filed a lawsuit accusing Jackson of past physical and sexual abuse.
The rapper swiftly denied the allegations, filing a defamation lawsuit in May 2024. According to court documents, 50 Cent claimed Daphne Joy's statements were "false accusations" intended to damage his public image and impact his parental rights. That defamation suit was later dropped without prejudice in September 2024.
The speculation surrounding Joy’s involvement in Sean Combs' trial intensified again on June 6, 2025, following the testimony of "Jane Doe" during the trial. Though Jane Doe’s identity was not publicly confirmed, online speculation linked her to Daphne Joy, as per Vibe.
Fueling these rumors was 50 Cent himself, who posted on Instagram (now deleted) a selfie of Daphne Joy alongside a courtroom sketch, captioned,
"Hey does anyone know who Jane Doe is? I’m trying to research for the Diddy doc".
A second post, still visible on 50 Cent’s profile, featured him and his son Sire giving a skeptical side-eye to someone off-camera. The caption read "WTF!", a reaction that many interpreted as his continued jab at the unfolding situation.
Despite the rumors, there have been no official confirmations from Daphne Joy or her representatives regarding her identity as "Jane Doe" or her involvement in the ongoing trial.
Meanwhile, Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing several charges, including multiple counts of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. His trial began on May 5, 2025, and is expected to last six to eight weeks.
