Addison Rae Easterling, better known as Addison Rae, hails from Lafayette, Louisiana, and rose to fame in 2019 as a social media personality. She posted videos on TikTok, dancing and lip-syncing to popular songs, as well as participating in viral trends and challenges, which gained her over 50 million followers by 2020.

As of June 7, 2025, she is the sixth most followed individual on TikTok, with over 88 million followers and 5.2 billion likes. After gaining popularity, the now 24-year-old personality branched out into other avenues, such as acting and singing. Rae appeared in the 2021 movie He's All That and is set to appear in the upcoming live-action animated film Animal Friends in 2026, alongside Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa.

Addison Rae released her debut single, Obsessed, in 2021, which was later included in her debut EP, AR (2023). In 2024, she signed with Columbia Records and released her debut studio album, Addison, in June 2025. The first single from the album, Diet Pepsi, reached number 54 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In an interview with Interview magazine published on June 20, 2024, Rae opened up about her life. The conversation turned to Britney Spears, who Addison proclaimed to be a huge part of her life, saying:

"I love a woman who does it all."

She continued:

"I love a girl that does it all with no filter, it’s just ingrained in me. And Britney being from Louisiana shows me that I can do it, too."

In the same interview, Addison Rae said without hesitation that she wanted to do everything—at least twice—to understand whether she liked it or not. She refused to be boxed in and said:

"I want to create things that are memorable, that provoke thoughts and feelings in people, and I want to entertain. Britney said it best: “There’s only two types of people in the world, the ones that entertain and the ones that observe.” And I love entertaining."

She also opened up about how being a "TikToker" wasn't really seen as a career option back in 2019 or 2020. For her, the app was simply a way to showcase her dancing. She claims that her naivete and fearlessness in the beginning left her more open to experimenting on the platform, and even back then, she knew she was interested in other things, including acting.

Rae also revealed that people don't actually know much about her, and she would slowly divulge her secrets over time. However, she emphasized that nothing she would ever uncover would actually be a departure from who she has been since childhood.

When asked about the most underrated thing about her, Addison Rae said:

"I would like to say my taste, or maybe my intuition—oh, you know what? I’ll say this. The most underrated thing about me is my ability to evolve and transform."

She ended the interview with anecdotes and rapid-fire answers and stated that she no longer pays attention to rumors. When questioned about her recently dwindling number of online posts, she replied:

"I only post things when they have value to me. When I used to post a million videos a day, I was just always on my phone. I’ve learned to live a little bit more, not be afraid to be off of my phone, to just get up and experience life."

Addison, the new album by Addison Rae, was released on June 7, 2025, and is available on all major platforms.
