Mr. Iguana received a huge pop during his Money in the Bank appearance. WWE now reportedly has big plans for the star.

At Worlds Collide, Mr. Iguana teamed with Aero Star and Octagon Jr. to face the team of Lince Dorado and LWO. During the match, Iguana got a huge reaction from the crowd, who loved his unique moveset. As a result, he was in attendance for Money in the Bank, and he received another huge pop from the crowd when he was shown onscreen during the show.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the backstage reaction to Iguana at Worlds Collide made WWE decide to host him at Money in the Bank. There was reportedly a lot of praise for his performance, with one NXT source indicating to Sapp that the company will be pushing for him to make more appearances.

Iguana was also popular among the WWE stars, who wanted to click pictures with him. When he was seated behind the commentary booth for Money in the Bank, he was reportedly approached for several photos. WWE higher-ups also stated that he was a "pleasure" to work with and was happy to do any kind of promotional work that was needed from him.


WWE is planning a merchandising opportunity involving Mr. Iguana

WWE is known to capitalize on the popularity of its stars by releasing merchandise, which usually sells well. All the top stars in the company have their merchandise on sale, and it looks like Mr. Iguana has joined that list.

According to reports from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the newly advertised R-Truth shirt reportedly sold quite well this weekend, and so did Iguana's merchandise. It was also reported that the Stamford-based promotion is in talks on how to properly merchandise Iguana, which also includes the feasibility of producing Iguana puppets.
