On June 9, 2025, BTS' Kim Taehyung took to his official Instagram account to share gym snippets with the South Korean actor Song Kang, leaving the fandom in awe. In the first image, the duo is seen flexing their physiques in fitted clothes.
He also shared a video of photoshoot as V and Song Kang hit different poses.
In the clip, they were wearing military uniforms. Subsequently, Kim Taehyung and Song Kang's latest friendship activities circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom.
They could not stop swooning over their bond, and an X user tweeted:
The fandom stated Song Kang and Kim Taehyung looked amazing in their gym avatar. They also observed that the latter was getting more handsome.

In March 2025, Kim Taehyung donated 200 million Korean won to aid the recovery efforts from the wildfires that took place in the Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Gyeongbuk regions.
He made the charity to the Korean Red Cross. During the contribution, he said the following words to the media outlet Newsis:
"I would like to express my deepest respect to those who have been affected by this sudden disaster, as well as the firefighters, firefighters, and volunteers who are risking their lives and working hard on the front lines every day."
He further mentioned:
'While doing evening roll call while serving in the military, I felt so bad watching the news, and I felt even worse thinking that some of my comrades' families may have suffered damage. Fortunately, the forest fire has been mostly put out, but I hope that there will be no further casualties, and I hope that my donation will be of some small help."
BTS' V was discharged from the mandatory military service on June 10, 2025, alongside fellow bandmate Kim Namjoon.
