Judge Mathis claims if Diddy’s federal case were a state case and he were the judge, he'd sentence the rapper to 5 to 10 years in prison

Judge Greg Mathis shared his perspective on the ongoing Diddy trial. In a clip from The Mathis Verdict, shared by the official X account of Art Of Dialogue, Mathis discussed what his course of action would be if he were the judge in Combs' case. According to Mathis, if the trial was a state case and he was presiding over it, he'd ensure that the rapper received a jail sentence of 5 to 10 years.

Judge Mathis said in the video:

"The things I've heard, the testimony, the video I observed, I'm convinced that he was involved in at least two cases of assault and battery against women."

He added:

"If you want to sum it up, if it were a state crime that Judge Mathis has observed the evidence and the testimony and the transcripts, what would I give him? Five to ten."

Mathis also expressed his belief that Diddy was somehow connected to the vehicle explosion case, seemingly referring to the incident involving Kid Cudi. According to the judge, he would sentence the rapper to a couple of years for the apparent explosion. He'd add a few more years for the alleged violence against women.

Further into the conversation, Judge Mathis stated that regarding the RICO charges against Diddy, he believed Combs was only responsible for the transportation of prostitutes across the states. Mathis noted that this was usually considered to be a "low level" federal crime, which might get him a prison sentence of less than a year.

According to Mathis, Combs was not getting charged in a state court since the statute of limitations had apparently expired.

Judge Arun Subramanian recently bashed Diddy for his actions inside the courtroom

In separate news about Sean "Diddy" Combs, he was criticized by Judge Arun Subramanian, who is presiding over the ongoing federal trial. As reported by the BBC, the judge threatened to ban the rapper from the courtroom if he did not stop making faces and nodding at the jury members.

While Combs' attorney told the judge that the rapper would not repeat it, Judge Subramanian called his actions "absolutely unacceptable." The judge stated that Combs was "vigorously nodding" while Cassie Ventura's friend, Bryana Bongolan, was being cross-questioned.

In a recent development, Austrian journalist Kathi Steininger came forward and accused Combs of sexually assaulting her in 2000, when she was only 19 years old. Steininger stated that she wanted to testify in the ongoing trial but was unable to do so since her case originated overseas. This prompted her to reportedly break her anonymity and publicly share her experience with the rapper.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been facing several charges since his arrest in September 2024. These include serious allegations such as s*x trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. However, the rapper has denied all accusations. Meanwhile, several other lawsuits have been filed by accusers claiming that Diddy drugged and raped them.

His attorneys have stated that Combs denies all of those allegations as well.
