According to Hot97, fellow rapper BigXThaPlug was expected to serve as the opener during Baby's North America, Australia, and New Zealand shows. However, he recently withdrew from the tour on account of a foot injury. The rapper took to his Instagram on June 4, to announce the news, stating that since he had hurt his foot, he would not attend Baby's WHAM Tour.

“As most of y’all know, I hurt my foot about a week ago. I will not be attending the WHAM Tour with Lil Baby,” he wrote.

The rapper's fourth LP, WHAM, included features from fellow artists like Young Thug, GloRilla, Future, and Travis Scott. Thug's feature in WHAM marked his first musical offering since his release from prison in October 2024 following the long-running YSL RICO trial.

Thug and Future joined Baby on Dum, Dumb and Dumber, and its music video was released in March.
