Al-Nassr are reportedly interested in adding Alejandro Garnacho to their squad to potentially reunite the Manchester United winger with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Garnacho, 20, has popped up as a potential sale for the Red Devils since Ruben Amorim's team slumped to a 1-0 UEFA Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this May. The Argentine ace was critical of his head coach in his post-match interview, saying (h/t BBC):

"Up until the final, I played every round helping the team and today I play 20 minutes, I don't know. The final will influence [my decision] but the whole season, the situation of the club. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens afterwards."

Days later, The Athletic journalist David Ornstein suggested that Amorim has told Garnacho to find a new team. The former Sporting CP manager reportedly had a chat with the winger during a meeting with the players at Carrington, Manchester United's training ground.

Now, according to the Mirror, Ronaldo's outfit are expected to table a bid to rope in the Manchester United man this summer. They have identified the winger as an alternative target to Liverpool superstar Luis Diaz.

Garnacho, who is being targeted by Al-Nassr as a good replacement for Sadio Mane, could reunite with Ronaldo should he join the Saudi Arabian club. He shared the pitch with Ronaldo six times during the pair's time at the Old Trafford side in 2022.

The right-footed attacker has started 88 of his 144 total appearances for the Red Devils. He has found the back of the opposition net 26 times and laid out 22 assists in 8,359 minutes of action for his current side.

On the other hand, Ronaldo is allegedly in talks with Al-Nassr over a new contract with the veteran striker's current deal set to expire this month.

Ligue 1 star keen to join Manchester United

During a recent chat with Belgian outlet Gazet van Antwerpen, LOSC Lille defender Thomas Meunier stated that he would love to join Manchester United. He said (h/t Metro):

"If they ever ask me, I'll cycle there! But maybe it's better this way. Suppose I play there and have a bad time. I wouldn't want to hate Manchester United, because I love that club so much."

Meunier, who can play either as a right-back or a centre-back, made 46 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 side last campaign.
