Roman Reigns' WWE contract has been a topic of much discussion these days. A veteran journalist has now set the record straight on The OTC allegedly being asked to take a pay cut.

Last week, former WWE Spanish commentator Hugo Savinovich reported that TKO has been wanting to renegotiate Reigns' rumored $15 million contract due to his part-time status. That doesn't seem to be true.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, seven superstars are raking in over $5 million per year, with Roman Reigns being the highest-paid wrestler of them all.

He also shut down the rumors of TKO restructuring the Original Tribal Chief's contract.

“As far as income goes, there are seven WWE performers earning well over $5 million per year and two others who may also hit that figure this year. Aside from The Rock, the highest-paid is Reigns. Whatever stories that went around from Jonathan Coachman that TKO asked Reigns to take a pay cut or restructure his deal are false.” [H/T WrestlingNews Co.]

Roman Reigns may not return to WWE alone

Roman Reigns has been riding alone since last year, which is also part of the reason why Seth Rollins was able to put his former Shield brother on the sidelines a few months ago.

Speaking on The Last Word podcast, Tommy Carlucci predicted that Reigns could bring 'some boys' with him to reignite his rivalry with the Wiseman and his group.

"I don’t know where it’s going. I think it’s going to go for a while with this whole Wiseman thing. And maybe Roman Reigns coming back, is going to bring some boys with him and start with The Wiseman. I mean, it’s wide open right now."

Will Roman Reigns reform the OG Bloodline to take down Seth Rollins and Co. this year? Only time will tell.
