The World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line tonight on WWE RAW when Jey Uso defends his title against Gunther, and it seems that the company has some major plans for the match.

Tonight's show is already stacked, with the return of Nikki Bella, the King and Queen of the Ring Tournament getting underway, and speculation that Bayley could also make her comeback.

Gunther vs. Jey is expected to main event the show, and according to The Wrestling Observer, the company has planned an interesting finish to the match.

"Jey Uso vs. Gunther for the World Title. All I know about this is, it’s not a spoiler, but I was told that they’ve got quite the interesting finish planned, whatever it is." [H/T: Ringside News]

There are several things that WWE could be planning, including the return of Goldberg to cost The Ring General, Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, or even the return of Roman Reigns.

This match has been planned for over a month, so WWE has been preparing it for some time, and it's expected to be a standout show.

Will Gunther leave WWE RAW as World Champion?

The Ring General has made a case for himself over the past few weeks to be handed a rematch. Jey Uso has also been competing in weekly matches, while the former champion has been resting since WrestleMania, waiting for a chance to regain his title.

That being said, Uso also has a lot of friends, which means that if there is interference or anything untoward happens in the match, he will have backup. In contrast, The Ring General's only friend, Ludwig Kaiser, hasn't been seen in months.
