NOT Roman Reigns: former WWE Champion to return and confront Seth Rollins on RAW? Exploring the possibility

Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed have been dominating the entire WWE roster lately. A glimpse of it was seen this past weekend when Breakker and Reed came out to take everyone down and help the Visionary become the new Mr. Money in the Bank.

The faction had been feuding with CM Punk and Sami Zayn lately and defeated the duo at Saturday Night’s Main Event when Reed attacked Punk to align with the Visionary. While the feud was expected to continue, CM Punk turned his attention to John Cena and is now set to challenge him for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions.

With Punk gone, Zayn is now left alone. The latter could team up with Jey Uso now after the star lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther this week on RAW. However, the duo would still be one man short against the powerful faction who has been making a name for themselves using the numbers advantage. This is where Randy Orton could return.

While Roman Reigns was speculated to join Zayn and Uso against Seth Rollins and his faction, the Tribal Cheif is seemingly set to take some more weeks off TV. Randy Orton could be the perfect choice for Zayn and Uso against the massive trio of Mr. Money in the Bank moving forward.

Orton lost the Undisputed WWE Championship match against John Cena at Backlash and hasn’t been on TV since. Now that he is officially out of the title picture, Orton could return on this week’s episode of RAW to even the odds and help Zayn and Uso take the lead and end up with the upper hand, hinting at a massive showdown between the two teams on a big stage.

Randy Orton heaped praise on Seth Rollins a few years ago

The Viper has always had an eye for talent, and he often praises the ones he feels deserve it. A few years ago, Orton heaped praise on Seth Rollins in a special WWE video celebrating the Legend Killer’s 20th anniversary.

"Seth Rollins is, in my opinion, one of the best competitors, performers, professional wrestlers of this generation. And I think it is apparent when you watch the matches he's had with the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns. I've had a couple of good ones with him too. I always tell Seth, too, 'God, you're good. I forgot how good you are.'" (11:45 onwards)

The Viper and the Visionary have locked horns multiple times in the past and have proved to have incredible chemistry in the squared circle. The two can potentially lock horns once again in the near future, which would undoubtedly be a treat for fans. Time will tell what WWE has in store for the stars.
