Logan Paul put Jey Uso through the announce table at Money in the Bank. The Maverick delivered a moonsault from the ring apron to the announce table that forced it to collapse.
It appears that the time it took Paul to set up the move allowed a WWE employee to crawl underneath and rig the table to ensure it would collapse on impact.
The following video, shared online after the event, shows one of the crew members lying under the table while Uso is lying on top, clearly ensuring that the move can proceed without issue.
Of course, as soon as Paul made an impact with the table and Uso, it then collapsed. The company introduced new announce table designs earlier this year, and at first, they appeared unbreakable as wrestlers attempted to put their opponents through the announce table, but it has refused to buckle.
Jey Uso put up with a lot of the assault throughout his main event tag team match at Money in the Bank. But in the end, it was the babyfaces that picked up the win after R-Truth made his return to take out John Cena.
Truth lost to Cena back at Saturday Night's Main Event and was then released by WWE. But after backlash both online and in the arenas over the past week, he was re-signed by the company and is now working under his real name, Ron Killings.
Thanks to his interference, Rhodes and Jey Uso were able to pick up the win in what was Cody Rhodes' first match since his loss to John Cena at WrestleMania.
Uso will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther tonight on WWE RAW in a match that was made more than a month ago when The Ring General was granted his WrestleMania rematch.
