It has been an interesting few weeks on WWE RAW, with the fallout from Money in the Bank leading into the build for Night of Champions. The Queen of the Ring tournament is underway, but two women who haven't been part of proceedings in recent weeks are Natalya and Maxxine Dupri.

Instead, the duo has been appearing on Main Event and working as a team to strengthen their chemistry since the duo now has a name, which means they are expected to be pushed in the coming weeks.

Ahead of WWE RAW, Maxxine Dupri shared a story on her Instagram where she referred to herself and Natalya as The Dungeon Dolls, which appears to be their new name as a team. WWE has also released official merch with the new name.

The duo has been working with The Alpha Academy in recent weeks, but it seems that this could be a sign that the group is now moving apart. Maxxine and Natalya have their own focus on RAW, whilst Otis and Akira Tozawa haven't been featured for several weeks.

The Alpha Academy hasn't been the same since Chad Gable left on WWE RAW

It has been months since Chad Gable walked away from Alpha Academy and decided to become American Made with The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Gable has since been pushed as a star in his own right, and the Academy has been left behind.

Despite Maxxine pushing to keep the team moving forward, they have been unable to gain any momentum on RAW, and now it seems that this new union could mark the official split.

Natalya could be a good influence on Maxxine, both inside and outside of the ring, and the two women could be legitimate contenders for the Women's Tag Team Championship in a few years.
