Karrion Kross sends an ominous message ahead of WWE SmackDown: "Pressure is a privilege"
Karrion Kross is one of the most beloved WWE Superstars currently. Fans are heavily behind him and are urging WWE to put him in major storylines. Before tonight's SmackDown, he took to Instagram to send a message to fans.
Despite being one of the top merch sellers in the company currently, Karrion Kross hasn't been in a televised match since mid-April. His last televised in-ring appearance came during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania 41.
He is currently involved in a storyline with Sami Zayn. The Canadian is on a hunt to claim his first WWE World Championship and vows to win it by himself without using any unfair means. Kross, on the other hand, is luring Zayn to embrace his dark side and claims that he can't become a world champion without doing that.
Ahead of this week's SmackDown, the former NXT Champion shared a workout video on Instagram. He also sent an ominous message, seemingly suggesting he is working hard in the background and is ready to carry the world on his back.
"Build a back big enough to carry the world while they sleep. Pressure is a privilege."
Karrion Kross hurls major accusations at Sami Zayn
The former NXT Champion had a backstage interaction with Sami Zayn on this week's RAW. He hurled major accusations at the Canadian, visibly angering the latter.
This past Monday, The Underdog from The Underground locked horns with Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Bron Breakker in a King of the Ring Tournament Fatal Four-Way qualifying match. Sami took home the victory by pinning ''Dirty'' Dom after LA Knight showed up out of nowhere and laid out Breakker with a BFT.
Later, Kross congratulated the former Intercontinental Champion backstage and praised him for using Knight to ''get ahead.'' This angered Sami Zayn, who claimed he won the match because he was ''good enough'' to do it. He also asked The Herald of Doomsday to stay out of his business.
Fans are seemingly invested in this storyline involving Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn. It will be interesting to see if they battle inside the squared circle in the future.
