"I bow down" - Charlotte Flair praises 16-year veteran following career-defining WWE moment

Charlotte Flair was in complete support of a 16-year veteran following her recent career-defining WWE moment. This was in a response post from ex-WWE Superstar Carmella.

At Money in the Bank 2025, Naomi had what was undeniably the biggest moment of her WWE career (since WrestleMania 33, anyway) when she became Ms. Money in the Bank. While her 2017 achievements were undeniably career-defining, the consensus now is that the post-TNA Naomi is having the best run of her career and has finally reached her peak after 16 years in the wrestling business.

The first-ever Women's MITB winner, Carmella, expressed her support to Naomi, and Charlotte Flair responded to that, telling Ms. MITB that she bows down to her:

What did Carmella say that led to Charlotte Flair's response?

We mentioned the history-making Carmella putting out a post in response to Naomi's Money in the Bank win. So what exactly did the first-ever Women's MITB holder say?

Carmella said she was rooting for Naomi, and that was what Charlotte Flair responded to. Ironically enough, it was Charlotte Flair who Carmella cashed in on to become the SmackDown Women's Champion. The previous year, Naomi achieved success by becoming the SmackDown Women's Champion twice - the second of which happened in her hometown of Orlando, Florida, at WrestleMania 33.

Carmella, like many other stars in recent times, had an unfortunate exit from WWE. While she wasn't outright cut or released, there was a complete lack of communication from WWE's side, and her contract simply expired. Carmella was unhappy about this and was quite vocal on the Barely Famous podcast.

She provided an account of how confusing it was, as she was initially given only seven weeks off after the birth of her son. However, she was eventually reinstated in early 2024. In 2025, WWE let her contract expire without renewing it.

It was a shame that her career ended the way it did, and many questioned why she was treated the way she was, especially when Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Lacey Evans all had pregnancies while under contract.
