Gunther delivered a final message to Jey Uso ahead of their match tomorrow night on WWE RAW. Main Event Jey will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against The Ring General on this week's edition of the red brand.
Jey Uso won the Men's Royal Rumble match earlier this year to earn a title shot at WrestleMania. He selected the leader of Imperium as his opponent and captured the World Heavyweight Championship at The Show of Shows by forcing him to tap out.
Ahead of the title match tomorrow night on WWE RAW, the 37-year-old took to social media to send the champion a bold message. You can check out his message in the Instagram post below.
"Let them cheer. I’ll bring silence," he wrote.
Uso teamed up with Cody Rhodes to battle Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul in the main event of Money in the Bank last night. R-Truth returned during the match and attacked Cena. Cody Rhodes capitalized and planted Cena with the Cross Rhodes for the pinfall victory.
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently shared his thoughts on Jey Uso as the World Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Apter stated that Gunther looked like a World Heavyweight Champion when he had the title. However, Apter claimed that he does not feel the same way about Uso but complimented The Yeet Master's work in the ring.
"Gunther though, on the other hand, is championship material. That's somebody you look at and you know, he looks like a World Champion. And again, Jey Uso is great in the ring, but I just don't feel that. You know, when you look at 'Ladies and Gentlemen here is the World Heavyweight Champion,' it's that guy." [13:20 onwards]

Uso has held the World Heavyweight Championship for 49 days so far during his title reign. It will be fascinating to see if Gunther can capture the title from the 39-year-old tomorrow night on WWE RAW.
