A popular 23-year-old megastar recently demanded an apology and threatened Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare is coming off a huge win at Money in the Bank, pinning John Cena in their tag team main event match, which also involved Jey Uso and Logan Paul.
After an intense back-and-forth action inside the Intuit Dome, Ron Killings returned by attacking Cena and hitting him with the Undisputed WWE Championship. It allowed Rhodes to capitalize and hit his Cross Rhodes finisher for the victory.
But before all that chaos, Cody Rhodes took a shot at John Cena in Friday's episode of SmackDown for appearing on Kai Cenat's live stream back in October. Cenat caught wind of what Rhodes said and responded to him during his most recent Twitch stream.
"Cody, if I march my way back to the motherf*cking ring, the next time I see you, I’m beating your a**, bro! I've got to get an apology, something. If I ever go back to another WWE event, Cody, I’m calling you out! When I see you, I’m hopping in the ring. That’s it. That’s all I’m gonna say. They don’t want me in this ring, bro," Cenat said. Kai Cenat was present during the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble, live streaming the entire event along with IShowSpeed. The 23-year-old didn't get in the ring, unlike Speed, but a confrontation with Cody Rhodes could be on the horizon.
Speaking on the latest edition of the What Do You Want To Talk About? podcast, Cody Rhodes discussed a variety of topics with guest Damian Priest.
The American Nightmare shared some details about that one time he produced a live event along with Seth Rollins because no agents were available due to a snowstorm.
"We had a show to do, and remember, no producers. Me and Seth. We were producers, and it was a show that had a commission, so we actually had to do work. It wasn't, 'Hey, you're good, we know your match. Hey, 12 minutes.' None of that," Rhodes said.
For those unaware, producers or agents are responsible for putting together matches and planning them with the talents involved.
