Former WWE Superstar Carlito bid farewell to the Stamford-based promotion a couple of weeks ago. He recently made a massive revelation about the company's CCO, Triple H.

Heading into the June 2 edition of Monday Night RAW, the 46-year-old posted a social media update announcing his WWE exit. The veteran noted that his contract with the global juggernaut was set to expire in two weeks, and he was not being offered a new deal.

During his recent appearance on the Busted Open podcast, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion said that he knew, given his age, he was not going to get pushed during his recent run. The former member of The Judgment Day opined that although Triple H liked him in real life, he was not a fan of his wrestling gimmick.

"I'm not going to complain. I'm not going to whatever. I knew I'm one of the older guys. I'm not gonna get priority, guys. I'm not getting pushed. And Hunter's not a fan of Carlito. I think, personally, he likes me, but I think he never was a big fan of the character," he said. [From 0:39 to 0:52]

Wrestling veteran blames WWE creative for Carlito's departure

Former WWE Superstar Stevie Richards has blamed WWE's creative team for Carlito's surprise exit from the company.

Speaking on his The Stevie Richards Show, the 53-year-old noted he was not impressed with the former WWE United States Champion's booking. He added that the promotion decided against renewing the veteran's contract despite not giving him the opportunity to shine. Richards put all the blame on the creative team for their booking of the Puerto Rican star.

"So you’ve literally neutered the character. Made him a guy that just basically took finishes and bumps for people, which is fine—but then you’re not going to renew the contract when it’s your fault. Once again, creative has nothing for you. You’re not getting over. These, you know, whatever kind of gaslighting you want to put in front of a talent. This is a fake, subjective business decided by bean counters, not creative people, who just look and either nod their head or don’t. And that’s as good as a no. They didn’t. It’s their fault they didn’t get everything they could out of Carlito. Not Carlito’s fault. Absolutely not," he said.
