WWE's Omos has been away from the weekly product for a while, and The Nigerian Giant recently made a groundbreaking announcement. The former RAW Tag Team Champion confirmed his new deal with the Stamford-based promotion.
Earlier this year, Omos won the GHC Tag Team Championship with Jack Morris when he competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Since relinquishing the title, The Nigerian Giant hasn't competed inside the ring and hasn't appeared on WWE television in over a year.
In an exclusive with GamblingIndustryNews.com, the former RAW Tag Team Champion was asked about his future in the Stamford-based promotion, and the 33-year-old star had good news for his fans. Omos revealed he had signed a new deal with the company and will be with them for years to come.
"Things are going very well. Can’t complain. I’m really excited about what is to come. I’ve been training really hard and working on some new things and I think it’s going to be a really fun ride ahead, especially because I just signed a renewal with WWE and will be there for years to come," Omos said.
