Sexyy Red slams Ray J for falsely claiming they slept together

Janae Nierah Wherry, aka Sexyy Red, has slammed William Ray Norwood Jr. (Ray J) for his false claims. The latter said during a live stream that he had hooked up with Wherry on a plane.

In a live stream on his Twitch channel on Saturday, June 7, Ray J said (via Baller Alert):

“I slept with Sexyy Red… that’s on the dead homies. Talking about I party with Sexyy Red, n***a. Ask her. That’s on the dead homies, n***a. I slept with her, n***a.”

Sexyy Red then slammed the rapper on her Instagram account. She shared a screenshot of her chat with Ray J on her Instagram story on Sunday, writing in the caption:

"Cornball azx lyin on ya meat is weird...play in yo A* not wimmie [...]Even to b sayin we 'slept' on the plane together I said hi and kept it pushin is you coo cuh?!"

In the story shared by Wherry, the Melody singer apologizes to her and also states that he will make a public apology.

Ray J makes public apology to Sexyy Red after falsely claiming he slept with her

In another video posted on Sunday, June 8, Ray J issued a public apology to Sexyy Red for his false claims. He explained their meeting on the plane and asserted that they had not slept together. He said (via Complex):

"I want to apologize to Sexyy Red. Sexyy Red is one of my favorite artists. Sexyy Red and I was on a plane. We were both flying somewhere. We randomly saw each other. She was sitting by me.

"She had her space. I had my space. She had her own blanket, her own pillow. I had my own blanket and my own pillow. And we had a long flight. We both were tired, so we went to sleep. Just like we would sleep with anybody else that was sitting next to us on a plane."

Ray J admitted that what he said was insensitive and hoped that Wherry saw his apology. He concluded:

"I went out of control and I said that I slept with Sexyy Red. That's insensitive and it's not okay and it's trolling at the highest level. I want to say, Sexyy Red, my bad. I hope this gets out there and this gets clipped and this gets shown."

The U My Everything singer shared the clip on her X account, with the caption:

"N****s lie on they d*ck everyday b"

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber has also come out in support of Janae Nierah Wherry. He reposted her aforementioned Instagram story on his Instagram story and wrote in the caption:

"THIS RUBS ME REAL WRONG. SORRY @SEXYYRED U THE GOAT"

Bieber attended Red's birthday party in April and shared a video from it on his Instagram account on April 18. On it, he was seen kissing the rapper on the cheek.

Some netizens suggested that he doesn't even look that happy with his wife, Hailey Bieber, but Red shut it down. Hailey also commented a few heart-eye emojis on the video.
