Kendrick Lamar and SZA brought their record-breaking "Grand National Tour" to Detroit's Ford Field on June 10, 2025. The show occurred one day after the duo won several awards at the 2025 BET Awards held in Los Angeles, including a joint win for Best Collaboration for Luther. Lamar also took home Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Album of the Year for GNX.
The "Grand National Tour" show in Detroit kicked off with a 30-minute set from Mustard, the producer behind many of Lamar's hits, including Not Like Us and TV Off. Kendrick Lamar took the stage at around 8:20 pm in a black Buick Grand National, performing Wacced Out Murals and Squable Up. The first act ended with 30 for 30, featuring SZA joining him on stage for the song.
The duo alternated their sets on stage, performing 52 songs over two and a half hours. According to the Detroit Metro Times, the show was divided into seven acts, with both artists performing two solo sets each and three sets together.
SZA's sets included her hit songs like Love Galore, I Hate You, Kill Bill, and BMF. Meanwhile, Lamar performed DNA, Humble, King Kunta, Alright, and several tracks from his latest album. The rapper also delivered two of his Drake diss tracks: Euphoria and Not Like Us.
Their joint sets featured performances of All The Stars and Luther, and the duo closed the show with Gloria.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA are expected to perform two back-to-back shows at Rogers Centre in Toronto on June 12 and 13.
