“Feels like a fever dream”—Fans emotional as BTS’ Jin crashes RM & V’s Weverse live, j-hope shares snippet of HYBE’s warm welcome
On June 10, 2025, BTS members RM and Taehyung completed their mandatory military service and joined fans in a live Weverse broadcast soon after arriving at HYBE HQ. Following their release from duty, the duo greeted media personnel outside their respective bases before proceeding to the agency's building.
At HYBE, they started a live stream to connect with fans, marking their first appearance together in over eighteen months. During the stream, BTS bandmate Jin made an unexpected entry. With a ribbon tied around his head, he entered the frame smiling and lightheartedly referred to himself as a “gift.” Jin was the earliest among BTS to complete his national duty, concluding his term in June 2024.
The livestream quickly gained attention across digital platforms. Fans widely circulated visuals and shared reactions online.

Supporters responded with happiness when Namjoon, Taehyung, and Seokjin showed up jointly on the broadcast. Many highlighted the “three Kims” reunion on X.

Meanwhile, Hobi, who finished his service in October 2024, uploaded clips from the internal welcome event via Instagram Stories.
The short video featured RM and V at the center of a circle formed by cheering staff, receiving bouquets and warm greetings upon their return.

RM and Taehyung's return marks the start of BTS' gradual regrouping as other members near the end of their enlistments. Both artists started their service term in December 2023. Kim Najoon was stationed with the 15th Infantry Division’s military band. Meanwhile, Kim Taehyung served under the Capital Defense Command’s elite Special Task unit.
On the morning of their discharge, both were seen in full service attire. RM carried a saxophone and gave a brief musical display for the attending press. V held a large bouquet and greeted the media.
BTS' Jimin and Jungkook are set to finish duty on June 11. Suga, who is fulfilling alternative duties due to health-related concerns, is set to finish by June 21. As the band slowly regathers, the K-pop act is likely to restart group projects soon.
